Volunteer in our Parks
The Jr. ROTC helps plant trees and spread mulch at the Mercer-Smith Log House. Do you have an idea for a park improvement project? Would you like to lead a volunteer team to accomplish a project? Contact the Parks and Recreation Division at 937-754-3090 or parks@ci.fairborn.oh.us. |

Adopt-a-ParkOur parks are an asset to our community. Not only do families take advantage of the playgrounds, walking trails, and bikeways; but the parks serve as the home to soccer teams and softball leagues. With all the activity in the parks, the maintenance never stops. With that in mind, the Mayor's Beautification Committee developed an Adopt-a-Park program designed to ensure our parks are a great place for family recreation. What would your group like to do in the park? Basically, that would be up to your group. Some groups meet monthly to clean their area, while other groups enjoy planting flowers and landscaping. For more information on the Adopt-a-Park program, contact Parks & Recreation at (937) 754-3090 or the Volunteer Coordinator at (937) 754-3030.
