In January of 1999, Mike Mayer assumed the responsibilities of City Solicitor/Prosecutor after successful tenure as the Assistant City Prosecutor for the City of Fairborn.  As City Solicitor, Mr. Mayer provides legal advice to the City Council, City Manager and city offices in matters relating to their official duties.  He prepares ordinances, resolutions, and other legal documents for the city and represents the city in civil lawsuits.  In addition, he prosecutes criminal actions at the Fairborn Municipal Court.

Mike graduated from Fairborn High School in 1984.  After graduation, he attended Miami University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business in 1988.  In 1994, he received his Juris-doctorate from the University of Toledo.  He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Greene County Bar Association.  In addition, he is a member of Fairborn Rotary, the Mock Trial Advisor at Fairborn High School, and an instructor at Park College.

Growing up in a military family, Mike has lived in California and Hawaii, but has spent the majority of his life in Fairborn.  He enjoys golf, reading, and travel.
