Mission Statement

To provide financial support services necessary to the operation of municipal government in an efficient, professional, cost-effective, and courteous manner.

Specific Functions

Administration and General Accounting: Responsible for paying charges incurred as a result of goods or services provided by City Departments, administer all payroll and related items for City employees, make purchases and assist other departments with purchases, assist in Revenue collections and maintain and prepare City Financial Reports and records.

Income Tax: Responsible for collecting revenue and administering all matters related to the City Income Tax.

Utilities Accounting: Responsible for administration, billing, and collection of Water, Sewer, and Sanitation utilities.

Assessments: Responsible for billing, accepting payments and assessing curb, sidewalk, and driveway apron, along with utility, and code enforcement cases on property located within the city limits.
